FileButler is a mobile app that organises files in your existing Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or iCloud with personalised AI. It does not create a new storage silo — it works inside the cloud you already use.
Those are storage. FileButler is an AI assistant on top: it suggests folders and names, learns from your approvals, and only uploads after you review. Your files still live in your cloud provider.
Files are processed temporarily for classification, then go to your cloud. We do not keep file content. For your activity history we only retain metadata such as filename and folder path.
Yes. You sign in with OAuth (we never see your cloud password), processing is encrypted in transit, and you can revoke access anytime from Google, Dropbox, Microsoft, or Apple.
FileButler is designed for GDPR and CCPA expectations: clear purpose (organise your files), no selling or mining of document content, and metadata-only retention for activity history.

You choose whether to match existing subfolders or create new ones. Only scanned documents get the YYYY-MM-DD_Topic rename pattern; all other files keep their original names unless you use advanced renaming on Pro.
Nothing uploads until you tap Confirm & Upload. Confidence scores guide the review: low confidence needs your input, mid confidence is quick review, and very high confidence can auto-upload silently when you allow it.
